I graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2018 with a BA Honours in Primary Education with a specialism in mathematics. Since qualifying, and have since taught across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working in a wide range of school settings through both permanent roles and supply teaching. I’ve also spent extended time supporting children in specialist provision, tailoring my approach to meet a variety of learning needs.

My goal has always been to make learning memorable, enjoyable and accessible to every child. I believe that all children deserve to flourish in their own way, and I work hard to create an encouraging, positive environment that helps them do just that.

As well as supporting younger learners, I have extensive experience tutoring Key Stage 3 and GCSE students in English, Maths and Science. I’m also TEFL qualified, allowing me to support learning with English as an additional language. I;ve also worked as a Specialist Marker for national assessments, giving me a strong understanding of what's expected and how to help children succeed.

When I'm not tutoring, I’m usually outdoors enjoying nature, wildlife conservation or keeping active through sports.

Alongside my teaching career, I’ve worked in healthcare and volunteer as a First Aider with St John’s Ambulance. When I’m not working, I spend my time outdoors with my dog.

Meet our tutors

Travelling Tutors was born from a simple belief: children learn best when teaching is personal, engaging, and free from unnecessary pressures. As passionate educators, we loved being in the classroom - but found that office politics and data-driven targets often got in the way of what really matters: the individual child in front of us.

Tutoring allows us to focus entirely on each learner’s needs, strengths, and interests, helping them grow in confidence as well as ability. It also gives us the freedom to combine two things we love - teaching and travelling - so we can bring fresh ideas, diverse experiences, and a sense of adventure into every lesson.

At Travelling Tutors, our mission is to make high-quality, personalised learning accessible and enjoyable, wherever our journey takes us.

All our tutors are DBS cleared. They undertake annual safeguarding and PREVENT training, and stay up-to-date with KCSIE guidance. We only accept tutors which are qualified teachers, to ensure that your child is getting the best knowledge and expertise in their subject field.
